Home-based care services are an effective way to facilitate continuous medical and health services for elderly people with limited mobility, people with disabilities, and other patients. To actively address the trend of population aging, Helan County is actively exploring a new model of community-based medical and elderly care with home-based care.
The home-based care service model has been recognized as an excellent case or awarded honors such as "China's Family Health Gatekeeper" in many places due to its effectiveness in addressing aging and improving the capacity of primary healthcare services. Smart hospital beds and related smart ward solutions have won awards in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions. The design of a multi-functional smart dining board bed won the gold medal in the Huabi Design Competition.
Mobile hospital beds play a role in hospital emergency rescues, such as in the transfer of elderly people who have fallen at hospital entrances.
