A highly efficient and safe operating room air purification system ensures a sterile environment, meeting the high sterility requirements of surgeries such as organ transplantation, cardiac, vascular, and artificial joint replacement.

The use of highly efficient, low-toxicity disinfectants, and their rational application, are effective measures to ensure a sterile environment in general operating rooms. After continuous discussion and careful consideration, the revised "Code for Design of General Hospital Buildings" finally specifies the following regarding general operating rooms: "General operating rooms should use air conditioning systems with terminal filters of at least high efficiency or medium efficiency, or 100% fresh air ventilation systems. The room should maintain positive pressure, and the air exchange rate should not be less than 6 times/hour." Other parameters not mentioned, such as temperature and humidity, can be referenced to Class IV clean operating rooms.
